Check whether you are able to run the following command on your box.
    nova-rootwrap /etc/nova/rootwrap.conf iptables-save -c
rename /usr/bin/nova-rootwrap to something else. You may not loose much.
    Try running rejoin command.

I think it worked. Should I use this command everytime I reboot my machines? Thanks a lot, dheeru!

I am getting same error. Can you tell me what to do after renaming the nova-rootwrap.conf file ? I am not clear about rejoin command.
