How do I disable neutron sending a list of DNS servers for a subnet?

My use case has two networks a tenant only network and a network shared between tenants.

By default instances are created on the tenant network but when they attach an interface from the shared network their DNS settings get overridden with an IP address that is not configured anywhere in the shared subnet's definition.

As far as I can tell the IP advertised is the DHCP server address leading me to believe dnsmasq is somehow implicitly advertising itself as a DNS server if no servers are explicitly configured.

How can I disable this behaviour and prevent dnsmaq from sending DNS server options in the reply for a DHCP Request?

With the current implementation you can't. I did however just submit a patch that will allow this:
