Actually I want to restrict the each department compute nodes access means I want to allocate IT to 2 compute nodes and for support 3 compute nodes. IT must use IT compute resources only they should not do mess in support department but how achieve this I do not know how to do. Please suggest solution.

You can use the following methods to segregate your cloud: cells, regions, availability zones, or host aggregates. Each method provides different functionality and can be best divided into two groups:

Cells and regions, which segregate an entire cloud and result in running separate Compute deployments. Availability zones and host aggregates, which merely divide a single Compute deployment.

I read the doc from that i think i want to go for availability zones. i will create different zones for IT, support etc. but I want to restrict users to specific zone on API so IT users will only see IT zone and same as for support. is it possible ?

Rectify me if I doing wrong.

You can use custom flavors (only visible to specific tenants) that use metadata and specific specs associated with the hosts inside a host aggregate. When a new instance is launched, nova-scheduler will build the instance in the hosts that match the specific specs defined in the flavors.

I don't know if you want to separate administration layer from end user layer, Admin users will see and manage both zones, but end users cannot launch instances in zones that are not defined in their flavors.
