After running vagrant up from the repo: https://github.com/openstack-dev/devs... the first host comes online properly and I can hit Horizon and other services. The second 'compute' node fails when trying to hit the Cinder API.

After investigating, I see the /etc/hosts file on the host system and both VM's are set to loopback:

/etc/hosts on local machine

'## vagrant-hostmanager-start id: ea0bc4c0-a090-4e98-bca1-553dbcb555a0
127.0.0.1 manager.openstack.site

/etc/hosts on manager

127.0.0.1 compute.openstack.site
127.0.1.1 manager.openstack.site manager
'##' vagrant-hostmanager-start
127.0.0.1 manager.openstack.site
127.0.0.1 compute.openstack.site

/etc/hosts on compute

127.0.1.1 compute.openstack.site compute
'## vagrant-hostmanager-start
127.0.0.1 manager.openstack.site
127.0.0.1 compute.openstack.site
'## vagrant-hostmanager-end

Im not sure if this is the desired configuration, but I 'believe' this is breaking the interconnection between the manager <=> compute.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Vince
