Suppose i want to create a combination alarm. alarm1 or alarm2 and alarm3. Is this supported by ceilometer client? Or should the operator be the same for all the alarms in the combination.(i.e alarm1 or alarm2 or alarm3)

It seems it is possible to create combination alarm with only one operator.

However, I tried to create using the two combination alarms and I am able to create the alarm but didn't check the behavior. In your case, first, create an combination alarm for alarm2 and alarm3 with AND operator, then create one more combine alarm with newly created combine alarm (alarm1 and combination alarm of alarm2 and alarm3) with OR operator.

Hope it works for you!!
