Hi Experts,

Please help me on this issue. I want get the statistics using meter 'compute.node.cpu.percent' for the resource Compute Node and VM instance, but I could not see any statistics while I tried below command.

ceilometer statistics --meter compute.node.cpu.percent -q 'resource_id=compute-0'
+--------+--------------+------------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-------+----------+----------------+--------------+
| Period | Period Start | Period End | Max | Min | Avg | Sum | Count | Duration | Duration Start | Duration End |
+--------+--------------+------------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-------+----------+----------------+--------------+
+--------+--------------+------------+-----+-----+-----+-----+-------+----------+----------------+--------------+

I could see ComputeDriverCPUMonitor update in nova configuration file.

/etc/nova/nova.conf
compute_monitors=ComputeDriverCPUMonitor,VswitchMonitor

Refer document: http://docs.openstack.org/admin-guide...

Thank You, Pradipta

Check your nova.conf, should like this:

compute_monitors=ComputeDriverCPUMonitor

notification_driver=ceilometer.compute.nova_notifier notification_driver=nova.openstack.common.notifier.rpc_notifier

Then restart openstack-nova-compute service.

Hi! I had same problem. I changed compute_monitors=ComputeDriverCPUMonitor to compute_monitors=nova.compute.monitors.cpu.virt_driver and it started to work!

I updated the same way whatever you explained above, and restarted the nova services, But still same issue I am able to see.
