Experts:

I'm trying to understand the cinder node sizing requirements, were there any recommendations on the following

  1. Memory ( RAM )
  2. #cores ( CPU )
  3. Disk Size on the Host/VM

Appreciate any helpful inputs.

Thanks, Parash

All depends on how many storage you want, it will not be the same 10TB as 100TB. Add more info like how many nodes you have or plan to have. Or how many storage space you need

Thank you Eduardo for the response. We are looking at 100TB storage. Number of nodes depends on the sizing requirement. Hence trying to understand these details.

It's also not entirely tied to how much space you want, but also to what level of performance you want, if redundancy is required, what price you're willing to pay for it, etc... The network part will be of some importance too.
