Hello guys,

I'm a new user of OpenStack, and I'm bit confused about which version/release to use on CentOS 6.

The relase 'havana' sounds like does not exists any more on repository:

~$ curl -I
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

In the other hand, the lastest guide was made to CentOS 7:

So, I would to ask: Which version is recommended to run with CentOS 6 in these days (August/2015)?

We currently still use Icehouse / CentOS 6.x in our production environment (scientific research computing).

Hey Guys,

I'm a newbie to Openstack and want to deploy a latest stable and tested version of Openstack to learn it and also willing to pull it up into production. Please suggest a version of CentOS and Openstack that perfectly matches/support to each other, so that I can play hard with Openstack and learn it. Also share links for reference.

Cheers, Mahesh

As suggested here try RDO Kilo on CentOS 7.1
