When adding additional filesystems to cinder and glance, the components get permission denied unless the system runs in selinux "permissive" mode. I am looking for a procedure to just update the individual components with the proper selinux permissions for the additional filesystems.

I would highly recommend that post this question at RDO mailing lists, probably you will receive more answers for that.

It appears you need to run the restorecon command against the new directory (and any files within) to establish the selinux properties. If your file system uses a totally different structure, you may need to run the semanage command to first add the new rules. In my case, I added a new file system within the default structure:

/var/lib/glance/images-lvm

So I was able to just run:

restorecon -Rv /var/log/glance/images-lvm

to set the proper permissions.
