Is there a way in OpenStack Swift to upload files via pre-signed URL's (as can be done with Amazon S3) ?

Amazon S3 enables pre-signed URL's to be used for uploading objects (http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/PresignedUrlUploadObject.html (http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/l...)) - is there a way to achieve this also with OpenStack Swift.

Hi JimL, As Far As I Know, Swift can't upload files just like the way S3 use the pre-signe URL's.

And for the Swift VS S3, please visit https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Swift/APIFeatureComparison (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Swift...)

hope do help.

Swift has tempurls that can do exactly that.

I've linked the docs for Icehouse, but it's the same in all versions of Swift.
