Hey Guys, I'm new to OS, currently I've a setup with two node. I've single node deployement plus one dedicated for nova - compute host.

OS: Juno - RHEL 7.1

Below is error message in my compute host when i'm launching an instance over dashboard. Sounds like some HW compatibility issue, but just want to be sure:

[root@nova-compute ~]# tailf /var/log/nova/nova-compute.log | egrep -i '(fail|error|warn)'

It's not mandatory to have Hardware Visualization support (VT) for "testing environment". We can choose QEMU instead of KVM (default). You just need to modify nova.conf.

virt_type = qemu Available Options are: kvm, lxc, qemu, uml, xen

Thanks

So do you think, there is something worng with VT?

[root@nova-compute ~(keystone_admin)]# egrep -c '(vms|svm)' /proc/cpuinfo 0 [root@nova-compute ~(keystone_admin)]#
