Hello!

As mentiont in the headline I have to install OpenStack (Grizzly or Havana) as single node on Debian 7.2.

I have read the installing instructrions for Debian in http://docs.openstack.org/ . In chapter 2.Networking is explained that you have before installing anything to configure your network and IP addresses.

For a single node installation is there a separation of external and internal network necessary? How should they be configured best?

Thank you very much for hints and advices in advance!

The version of OpenStack that this is opened against has been declared EOL as per http://releases.openstack.org/ Please open a new issue if you are still seeing this problem with a more recent, supported version of OpenStack. Thanks.
