I am a developer of IBM opnenstack drs team. I need to introduce my own exception codes for special purpose. But I don't know if it's compatible with openstack.

Now that nova exception define those codes already: Code Exception Type, 500 NovaException, 400 NotAuthorized, 403 Invalid, 404 NotFound, 409 DevicePathInUse/ NoUniqueMatch/ CidrConflict, 412 ConstraintNotMet, 413 QuotaError,

I just want to define new Exceptions with codes 10501,10502 and so on.

I would suggest you to ask this question on the OpenStack Development mailing list as I believe it requires lots more discussions among the whole community. http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev to sign up (I suggest you to subscribe to that list).
