When the power fell, my xenserver with devstack domu on top closed. Upon reboot the domu changed IP, and now I can't access it from the dashboard, and from ssh I get wierd results(it doesn't recognize nova list because it expects something at the old ip). I have restarted xenserver and the vm multiple times. At the new ip i get: ConnectionError at /admin/

HTTPConnectionPool(host='192.168.0.13', port=8774): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2/4739acb9c6f244bfbcf7f8bb9c9cb95f/extensions (Caused by <class 'socket.error'="">: [Errno 113] No route to host) At the old I get nothing. </class>

Fount this similar question: https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/246/how-do-i-restart-a-devstack-vm/ which advises to run ./rejoin-stack.sh, but it falls into a loop.

personally, I'd kiill the devstack and start again. Is that an option for you?

How would I do that? Unstack.sh and stack.sh? Also, because I need this for my thesis, how can I get a "stable" version working, or possibly backup a version regularly.

I ran unstack and stack again, and unfortunately nova compute and nova api do not work. Should I reinstall devstack or try something else?

sorry, by 'kill the devstack', I would start with a fresh machine
