How to upgade openstack swift version from swift 1.8.0 to Havana? [closed]

Hello, I guess,Havana release for opensatck swift has been officially released.Currently i am working with the version 1.8.0.Can anyone explain me how to upgrade the swift to latest version?

The version of Swift in Havana is 1.9.1. Ask koolhead17 mentions, to upgrade - you just need to use your distribution's package manager.

Be sure to read the release notes: and make sure you stagger your upgrades - don't reboot all your machines at once to avoid a replication storm :)

If you have installed the packages from the distribution it should happen once you upgrade them.

where could i get the latest distribution package manager to upgrade havana?

Thanks a lot to koolhead,the following worked out for me.

sudo add-apt-repository cloud-archive:havana Now run:

sudo apt-get update

to update your package listings and then proceed to install/upgrade your openstack packages.
