Is Ephemeral storage support for instances running on VMware ESXi hypervisor?

I am using Grizzly on Ubuntu 12.04 server. Have two compute nodes in the setup. One running KVM hypervisor & other VMware ESXi 5.1 (using VMwareVCdrivers). I am able to discover Ephemeral storage on KVM guest but not on ESXi guest. The ESXi guest is Ubuntu server 12.04 with cloud-init module loaded. Is the Ephemeral storage support for VMware hypervisor ?

At the time of the initial Havana (2013.2) release the vCenter driver did not support ephemeral disks, it is anticipated that this will be corrected in a future stable update. This is noted in the documentation here:
