Swift ACLs based on roles or groups
Is there a way to create a swift ACL based on a role or group? All the examples I have seen are based on referrers or usernames.

It depends entirely on what authentication system you're using. Swift itself doesn't define any semantics on the ACLs. (It does enforce a syntax, but no semantics.)
If you're using Keystone authentication, your ACLs can include $tenant:*
, which will grant access to all users in $tenant
.
