Hello there,

I am deploying compute service on compute node. (openstack kilo)

after run: #yum install openstack-nova-compute, the output is:

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * base: centos.crazyfrogs.org * epel: epel.besthosting.ua * extras: centos.mirror.fr.planethoster.net * updates: distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr No package openstack-nova-compute available. Error: Nothing to do

my OS is: CentOS Linux release 7.1.1503 (Core) python version: Python 2.7.5

Any idea? Thanks so much !

on Centos 7, you need to run "sudo yum install centos-release-openstack-mitaka" to enable the extras repo that has the openstack packages. Then you can run "sudo yum install openstack-nova-compute" to install the compute node. See http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/install-guide-rdo/environment-packages.html (http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/inst...) in the setup guide.
