Hi, I am deploying keystone and swift on separate VMs.

When try to use swift CLI, it shows the following error:

HTTPConnectionPool(host=<keystonemachine>, port=8080): Max retries exceeded with url: /v1/<account>?format=json (Caused by <class 'socket.gaierror'>: [Errno -2] Name or service not known)

I used nmap to check 35357

# nmap -p 35357 keystone_machine_ip

PORT STATE SERVICE
35357/tcp open unknown

any help?

Mr. Hanachoo, did you get this fixed? It looks maybe like the service is not running, from your nmap output. I had several firewall problems that interfered with the proper operation of my swift controller and storage nodes. Are all your VMs on the same network? I found 'telnet <ip> <port>' help

host=<keystonemachine>, port=8080 <====== makes no sense, you said keystone and swift are on separate VMs, 8080 is not served by keystone
