Hi there,

I am new to OpenStack, but i manged to add some images to Glance (ex. Ubuntu Trusty Tahr), run instances by using those images, and open instance console from Horizon. But I am struggling with finding and image that would already have GUI (any OS, i don't mind) when i connect to it from the Horizon. The only limitation is that it isn't too big, like Windows Server 2012. I need it to bi smaller than 5GB. Maybe I am missing something so please help me..

Thanks in advance!

I would recommend taking one of the linux images you have such as Ubuntu, centos or F22, Then install a GUI. Once installed take a snapshot of that VM. This will allow you to boot from the snapshot as needed.

The other option is to create your own image. http://docs.openstack.org/image-guide...
