Hi Guys,

I'm currently having some problem when we try to boot and instance it keep giving error saying that vif_type=binding_failed. i've google around and find few solutions which also require to delete and recreate brigde. i have done this and reboot the server but still could not boot the instance. when i check further inside my syslog. i found below:

kernel: [27953.950175] openvswitch: netlink: Unknown key attribute (type=20, max=19).
kernel: [27953.950357] openvswitch: netlink: Unknown key attribute (type=62, max=19).

i can see that there are lots of people having this issue. most of them are saying that the kernel does not support openvswitch. i'm currently running on ubuntu 14.04.2 with kernel: 3.16.0-38-generic

my openvswitch modinfo as per below:

filename: /lib/modules/3.16.0-38-generic/kernel/net/openvswitch/openvswitch.ko

looking forward how to solve this. please advise.
