How to use allocation pools to use different range of IPs in different projects from same shared network

We created one big shared network and want to use different rage IPs from this network in different projects. we are using neutron with vlan.

  1. In Horizon, create two networks ex. "vLAN X", "vLAN Y",etc. (in Admin menu -> Networks)
  2. Assign each network to a different project.
  3. For each vLan, create and configure a Subnet, and provide the desired IP range for this project in the "Allocation Pools". The format is start_ip_address,end_ip_address (e.g. 192.168.1.10,192.168.1.40) and one entry per line.
