HI OpenStack

I'm following instructions from: http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/install-guide/install/yum/content/install_clients.html (http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/in...) to install and configure OpenStack

I'm up to the section called "Install the OpenStack command-line clients"

However, I am not sure WHERE to install these. For example: pip install python-novaclient Do I install them in the Controller node, Network Node, Compute Nodes? All of them? or on another totally separate machine?

You need to install the clients anywhere you wish to interact with the environment from, typically either on the controller node(s) or a separate machine that you plan to access the cloud from (e.g. your desktop).

I suspected the same thing. Thanks very much for the confirmation.
