I have a multi node OpenStack setup with a Controller node, Network node and a Compute node. Now I want to configure another Compute node, and I am having bit issues in that.

So what should be the steps to add another Compute node in a multi node setup. Also do I need to create an endpoint and compute services again on the controller side.

Copy nova.conf from exiting compute node to new node and change the network parameters(Host IP). Restart nova services and run nova service-list.

Would you run RDO Juno ( Kilo) you just update your original answer file as follows:

EXCLUDE_SERVERS=<ip of controller>,<ip of network node>,<ip of existing compute nodes>
CONFIG_COMPUTE_HOSTS=<ip of existing compute node>,<ip of new compute node>

and rerun packstack
