# Help Pls: installing devstack multi-node on Ubuntu 14.04

I am deploying a multi-node devstack cluster on Ubuntu 14.04, and this is time sensitive. I am using devstack in order to get a testing environment running, while I figure out how to install from the ground up. I have been hitting errors that I can not find ANY answers to on google.

The environment is to be one controller, and then 2 computes. I am able to get the controller installed with a little bit of work, but the compute is giving me issues. I am using the latest build, which is kilo. I am also using a localrc, as regardless of what I do, devstack complains that it can not determine the host_ip when I am using the local.conf, so that is why it is only the localrc.

The first run of stack.sh gave me: ERROR: You must provide a user name through --os-username or env[OS_USERNAME]

So, I gave it the os_username, password, and tenant id, then I get this error at the same spot: WARNING:keystoneclient.auth.identity.base:Failed to contact the endpoint at http;//10.0.0.50:8776/v1/cdab131b4af849689e5470b66b3daf35 for discovery. Fallback to using that endpoint as the base url

Here is some background info, AND A "SNIPPET" of the errors:
