Hi,

Currently FUEL is using Ubuntu version 12. How to upgrade it to Ubuntu 14 and build the FUEL iso??

Please share the links or documents about how to upgrade a software in FUEL.

Sujay,

6.1 (will be released in the end of May) will already support 14.04 as the standard Ubuntu image with Juno. Of course you can add the 14.04 image in the previous versions in cobbler by hand, but this is not supported: Upgrading the major for an operating system in Fuel deployed clusters is not supported yet, due to the OpenStack packages constraints.

Of course upgrading one or more packages is supported, they can just be pulled from the Fuel infra repos and locally installed: http://fuel-repository.mirantis.com/fwm/

We're working to implement single and multiple commits and upgrades in the 7.0 release cycle. You may want to check Pumphousein the meanwhile: https://www.mirantis.com/blog/upgradi...
