I have ubuntu installed on VM and I open devstack by connecting to localhost on the VM. The ip is localhost on VM to get to openstack dashboard. While I try to gain a token by sending a post request to keystone, I can successfully do so through my guest os since I'm using the locahost ip. But how do I authenticate from my host os? what ip should I be sending the post request to?

Send the requests to VMware NICs. You can get the ip address by typing ifconfig or from windows Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections.

ifconfig on guest os(ubuntu) gives me 10.0.2.15, I can't ping this ip from my host os(windows). Am I doing something wrong here?
