It is not (currently) easy to build an image in OpenStack by booting from an ISO. In general, to create a new image for use in OpenStack you should:

  • Boot the ISO locally using a virtualization platform of your choice (KVM, VirtualBox, etc).
  • Install and configure the operating system to meet your needs
  • Shut down your local instance
  • Upload the image to OpenStack using glance image-create ...

Alternatively, you can grab a pre-configured image (e.g., from Fedora or Ubuntu), upload that via glance, and then configure it to meet your needs (and then snapshot the end result and use that for deploying additional instance).

Upload centos qcow2 image to glance. For example use this link http://xenlet.stu.neva.ru/centos/centos-6.4-amd64-20130710.qcow2. Then create instance from it.
