Wrong date and time on files (swift)

I have just managed to perform my first swift installation on five storage nodes and a proxy. I'm using Cyberduck with S3 to create some buckets and upload files.

Cyberduck's browser reports all files as modified on 1/1/1970 2:00:00.

I haven't managed to find something relevant.

Any hints?

Since you are using the S3 compatibility layer for swift, there are some areas that can't report completely accurate information. For example container listings in swift don't store last-modified times for the objects, so bucket listings in the S3 requests don't have valid last-modified times.

This could be a Cyberduck problem. Have you tried using curl or the swift tool (available in python-swiftclient on Ubuntu). They'll show you exactly what the lastupdate date is on your objects/files.
