Hi,

Launch my first insance.
Like this:::
nova boot --flavor m1.tiny --image cirros-0.3.3-x86_64 --nic net-id=f7d16d62-199a-48b3-bab3-377eecf311ca --security-group default --key-name demo-key demo-instance2

All nova-services, neutron agents run well. Gre tunnel is up.
Getting this when launch the instance:
ERROR (ClientException): The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation. (HTTP 500) (Request-ID: req-59d7e6a0-2851-4190-87f6-2b63e9cacb64)

One thing i am looking on is nova secgroup-list with id 1. ?? ID 1 is a small number. How to be sure this is correct?

Did you ever get a fix for this problem? I'm facing something that looks very similar.

Hi, thank you for your answer. This is the command with debug.
Is there more information if I am adding "debug" into neutron and nova .conf files in controller, compute and network node?

nova --debug boot --flavor m1.tiny --image cirros-0.3.3-x86_64 --nic net-id=f7d16d62-199a-48b3-bab3-377eecf311ca --security-group default --key-name demo-key demo-instance3

when Im remove --nic to launch an instance could create an instance, but in error state

I cant see my problem.
Everything seems to be up and running.
When I am trying to run nova boot to launch an instance I get 500 error.
If I am removing the --nic i could create an instance, but the instance is in error state.

I pasted my configuration files under UPDATED in my answer and hope for help.

can you run 'neutron port-create' and create a port on your 'demo-net' network and then 'nova boot --flavor m1.tiny --image cirros-0.3.3-x86_64 --nic port-id=$YourPortUUID --security-group default --key-name demo-key demo-instance2' also can you show the output of 'env|grep -i os'

Hi, thank you for your answer. Your sentence dosent support --nic port-id (or I did it wrong?)
And result for admin.sh and demo.sh down in my answer over.
If you have a look at my net-list between demo and admin -user you may see the demo user cannot see ext-net in net-list.

I would recommend restarting services on the compute node, also updating your nova.conf to 'debug=True' so you can see more information on what's actually occurring. After that try to launch an instance again, you may want to read through previous questions regarding a time out from nova api.
