I am trying to install the HP Helion community edition of OpenStack. Before doing so, I would think I'll need to make some changes in the switch configuration. I'm not sure on how I am going to do this and which things I should keep in mind while doing so. Does anyone have any experience what so ever on configuring the switch before an installation with HP Helion OpenStack community edition?

I have added the link to their explanation; http://docs.hpcloud.com/helion/community/network-requirements/ (http://docs.hpcloud.com/helion/commun...)

Toon, the management IP's are all untagged network ports on your switch; in addition you bring to each server port a tagged VLAN that is your external network and a tagged VLAN that is for service provider networks. the BRBM on the host linux OS will distribute those networks further into the Helion installation and nodes as configured in your jason/env.vars settings.

I hope this helps? CHeers, JeroenK HP TS Cloud CoE
