Hi All,

I am running OpenStack Juno cluster. I want to use nova-network with multiple compute nodes, but when I try to launch an instance on compute node1 and compute node2 then the bridge interface IP for the VLAN remains the same e.g. 10.0.1.1 . As per some architecture documents that I viewed, bridge interface IP should have been different on each of the compute nodes.

Also dnsmasq service is running on each of the compute nodes. Should it be running only on nova-controller? If yes, then how do I switch that?

Following is my network configuration. I have configured VLAN subnets in Nova-network with multi-host set to true.

network_api_class = nova.network.api.API security_group_api = nova firewall_driver = nova.virt.libvirt.firewall.IptablesFirewallDriver network_manager = nova.network.manager.VlanManager network_size = 254 allow_same_net_traffic = True multi_host = True send_arp_for_ha = True share_dhcp_address = True force_dhcp_release = True public_interface = bond0

vlan_interface = bond0

Anything that you feel I am missing ?
