I have an esxi host. Under that I have created a Ubuntu 14.04 machine running Openstack(devstack single node)Juno release. I am trying to spin CSR1000v image as a VM inside Openstack. I followed the official Cisco docs and still am not able to do it.

The VM succeeds spinning and getting created in Openstack dashboard but in console it is stuck in boot and doesn't go further. The same image is running perfectly under virtualbox or other appliance.

Kindly help.

Below is my localrc content.

Devstack setup has 16gb RAM and 8 CPU. The flavour which I am trying has 4gb ram and 2cpu.

What is the cpu+ram combination that you are specifying for CSR1Kv in OpenStack? Is this an ISO or QCOW2 image?

nova boot csr2 --image csr_image --flavor 6 --nic net-id=412feb16-5e22-4ce2-8285-d6384a7a343b

Cant input full glance... Image is raw in disk format and bare in container format... Tried in many other formats as well...
