Please I'm new to cloud and Openstack. I wish to know the steps needed to deploy a traditional desktop application such as an IDE in the form of SaaS using openStack. I have successfully implemented openstack by following the official installation guide. I don't know how to proceed from there. I will appreciate your suggestions.

You can set up as many software servers as you like with OpenStack, you launch instances for this.

Then you install the software you want on those instances.

Your clients will access the application using a remote desktop connection like rdp.

1) Launch an instance on OpenStack. 2) Install the software you want to serve. 3) Have your clients make a rdp connection to that server. I'm guessing this is a Windows application you want to serve, and i can't help you with that operating system
