root file system size is wrong ?
Hi ,
Why if I launched a VM with medium flavor ( 40 Gb disk ) its root file system is 20 Gb only ?
fdisk -l shows 40 Gb .

Where do you see that 20 gb ?
What image are you booting? Did you create it yourself or it a standard Fedora/Ubuntu/etc cloud image?
I used a standart CentOS 6 image .
fdisk -l
Disk /dev/vda: 42.9 GB, 42949672960 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 5221 cylinders .......
df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/vda1 20G 1.2G 18G 7% /
As you see , the df gives only 20 gb
