Hi all,

while instaling a devstack on a multi nodes using the multi lab installation guide, when using the stack.sh script, after 20 minutes, i get this error:

[ERROR] /opt/stack/devstack/lib/cinder:459 c-api did not start

we install the devstack on a vm (using virtualbox) and it has 3.5GB memory.

can you please help us find the problem? thanks in advance,

Make sure that Cinder services are enabled properly in localrc file. I would like to suggest reboot the system once and try to re-run the stack.sh

ENABLED_SERVICES+=,cinder,c-api,c-vol,c-sch,c-bak

Hi Sahana,

Thanks for your response. We had tried your suggestion, but unfortunately it didn't worked. We still getting the same error.

In the stack.sh file, there is a "SSL_ENABLED_SERVICES" variable, and not "ENABLED_SERVICES". We tried to add the services that you mentioned to both variables.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Alon
