Downloaded CentOS-6-x86_64-GenericCloud-20141129_01.qcow2 from http://cloud.centos.org/centos/6/images/

While trying to Launch the same cloud image in the Openstack Icehouse, need the Credentials to logon wherein there are no user name and password or password file available online.

How to authenticate in to these Cloud image Instances while using them in the Openstack?

Thanks!

The normal method to authenticate to this images(and many other openstack images) is using keypair

https://github.com/davidheijkamp/docs...

An alternative is setting a password for root in the qcow2 image using the guestfish tools https://access.redhat.com/discussions...
