instance status is shutoff

I have icehouse multinode setup,with 1 controller 2.compute 3. neutron. Do you to power shutdown of the setup the running vm went to shutoff mode. I am able to create new instances but the existing vm is not able to hard or soft reboot. It is showing powering on from long time.

I am attaching the screenshot.Please help me to reslove this issue.

Hi Amitabh, try to reset the state of an instance by,

nova reset-state server-name/id

then try to resume the instance.
