It says it is "Waiting for product VM to Install." However the VM console encounters a "EDD: Error 0c00 reading sector 1822630" "No Default or UI Configuration directive found!".
I am using the mirantis's 6.0 iso and virtualbox scripts to launch virtualbox and fuel. The host OS is Ubuntu 12.04 precise. The architecture is x86_64.

I tried all the launch scripts. Unfortunately I get the same result. I'm also using a the latest stuff. All the downloads are from the last two weeks (have there been changes in this period?). I'm using the MirantisOpenStack-6.0.iso (should I use the fusion iso?). OS: Ubunto 12.04 precise x86_64

Ken - make sure you have the latest version of Virtualbox, and the latest version of the scripts. You'll also want to make sure that you have the Virtualbox Extensions. Once you have everything installed you should be able to pick between the different options when launching. Depending on your hardware you may want to differ from just the "launch.sh" and instead use launch_16gb, or 8gb, or 4gb.

Make sure your ISO is the latest as well. There were pre-release versions out to show off new features previously.

You are using the correct ISO. The error you are seeing looks similar to something you would see when using a USB. Have you had success working with any of the other versions previously? See if the same happens for 5.1.1, if so it might be an OS level issue.
