Hi All

I have a user who has broekn his FStab and his VM will not boot it just hangs at

Booting from hard disk......

There is also this in the action log

2015-02-20 13:19:17,038 - __init__.py[WARNING]: Unhandled non-multipart userdata ''
The disk drive for /mnt/vbd1 is not ready yet or not present.
Continue to wait, or Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery

does anyone know how to break into this to change the fstab as I believe the boot process is moving past the Press S option before we see it in the console

You can go to hypervsor where vm is, power off the vm mount vm disk using libguestfs or qemu-nbd and fix the fstab
