Hi All

I have a user who has broekn his FStab and his VM will not boot it just hangs at

Booting from hard disk......

There is also this in the action log

2015-02-20 13:19:17,038 - __init__.py[WARNING]: Unhandled non-multipart userdata '' The disk drive for /mnt/vbd1 is not ready yet or not present. Continue to wait, or Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery

does anyone know how to break into this to change the fstab as I believe the boot process is moving past the Press S option before we see it in the console

thanks in advance

My suggestion would be to shut that VM down and attach its storage to another, working VM.. mount it there.. and then fix the broken fstab.

Obviously getting into single-user mode would be much, much quicker though... :)
