I keep getting this error - I am running OpenSUSE 13.1 on all 4 nodes - and Juno

Please help as I have tried all options.

Cannot create instance - the instance spawns for a few seconds and then throws "no valid host"

The error is NovaException: Unexpected vif_type=binding_failed shows in nova-compute.log on the compute node

Update - Feb 24 - My issue is that the bridges are not getting created - brctl show does not show any Also, ovs agent error on compute says that bridge does not exist .... Anyone knows why the bridge did not get created - Also, does the neutron.conf must have the database connection enabled on compute? .....

Updating - on Feb 24 2015 -

I enabled the connection string on neutron.conf for both neutron node and compute node and the issue is resolved. I am able to populate all the bridges and spin off nodes - 120 m1 instances in under 4 minutes....pretty good I think!

Thanks everyone.

Yes tried deleting br-int and adding is back but no change I have noticed that brctl show does not list any bridges....on compute node
