Demo or Admin?

When i install Openstack using Devstack, sometime the tenant name of admin is demo and others time instead is admin. This depends on what? On local.conf i set only the cloud host.

Tenant name / User Name doesn't matter. All you need is a tenant on which a user who is operating on has "admin" role.

Consider the following

TenantNmae = NonAdminTenant UserName = NonAdminUser

If both of them are associated with "admin" role then "NonAdminTenant" is considered as a tenant with "admin" role for the user "NonAdminUser"

To answer your question, just check the role assignment for that user on that tenant. If it has "admin" role then most likely, he can do admin operation
