Is it possible to specify a default wordpress theme and list of plugins to include within a the heat template file?

If so, I know that the theme and plugin files would need to be referenced for download, or would it be better to somehow include those files within the cookbook?

This seems to be largely identical to your other question about Heat, https://ask.openstack.org/en/question... . The answer is largely the same (make good use of the user-data script).

As the Larsks said, the question has already been discussed at https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/60917/is-it-possible-to-set-root-password-and-add-sudo-user-within-a-heat-template-file/ (https://ask.openstack.org/en/question...) hence you need to visit that thread for your answer. For specifying a http://www.ilikenull.com/category/wordpress_themes/ (WordPress theme) or plugin to the heat template file, you will have to provide “nova instance” along with user-data into your heat template. You can have more information on this topic by visiting on above discussion point.
