rebooting the neutron node issue

I have installed openstack juno using packstack. 1 node(controller+neutron), other is compute node. When I reboot the controller+neutron node the br-ex gets recreated and thus it gets disconnected from the qrouter interface. I have to clear the external subnet and reset the gateway interface of the qrouter.

This stops the networking to my existing VMs. How can I overcome it?

Add to /etc/rc.d/rc.local

ifdown br-ex ;
ifup br-ex ;
service network restart

CentOS 7 have old version of OVS

Will this prevent recreation of br-ex because as in link: https://openstack.redhat.com/Neutron_... network restart takes destroys and recreates br-ex which causes the router's interface in the qrouter-* netns to be deleted

If have created ifcfg-br-ex and ifcfg-enp2s0 ( for instance ) OVS bridge and OVS port showing up in ovs-vsctl show things wont became worse anyway. Just try. I work with this script on CentOS 7
