Hello All, I am trying to install Redhat openstack and edit the bridge configuration file to launch horizon GUI dashboard. In the bridge configuration file, it ask for DNS1 ip address. I had tried command "cat /etc/resolv.conf" in the host desktop terminal but it did not yield the DNS1 I was looking for. Any advice? Thanks!

Only you know the appropriate DNS configuration for your local machine. If you already have a functioning /etc/resolv.conf it is highly likely you do not to add any DNS servers to the network configuration for the bridge.

Hey Larsks, Thanks so much! In situation where after entering /etc/resolv.conf in host workstation terminal, we get these outputs in 2 separate lines: "name of server1" "name of server2" And there is no IP address at the end of both outputs. Then any other advice on how to get DNS? Thanks!

I don't really understand your last comment. Can you update your question (e.g., do not post as additional comments) showing the actual content of configuration files, and any output or errors that you have questions about?
