I want to install openstack for my organization for creating private cloud. Futher plan is to create Hybrid cloud. Can devstack suffice the purpose or I have to do two node installation of openstack?

If devstack is not a suitable option, then please suggest some links which list out steps for two node installation.

Thanks

Anything can be used for production but that depends on what you call production and what your expectations are. In my openstack cloud we have 300+ hypervisors and devstack just wouldnt be the right solution for us.

Honestly, I would advise against using devstack for anything other than learning or developing.

If you cant stand up an openstack cloud without devstack then how are you going to fix it if something breaks?

You should try and build using many of the distribution available or hire one of the many vendors out there to help you out.

If you decide to build it your self, I found that using Ubuntu packaging is the simplest way to go.

Here is the official installation guide for Juno on Ubuntu 14.04. Its pretty straight forward. http://docs.openstack.org/juno/instal...

Hope this helps.
