HI,

We have installed Icehouse(3node setup) and we are able to launch VMs from nova and associate Floating IPs. From all 3 nodes, we are able to ping floating IP gateway. But After associating floaitng IP to a VM, unable to ping that IP. VM shows as running state, unable to view VM console from horizon page (This web page is not available). We have disabled all the firewalls - still no go.

We have installed in bare metal - yet to integrate vmware drivers - for now, we r using only KVM. In our havana setup, it works - but not in icehouse and both their cfgn are different,

did you add an ICMP rule in the security group and try pinging externally?
