Cinder: Tool to Generate config sample: Error: no module named oslo_db

I had activated virtual environment and ran the as shown below and getting error. Any swift help is appreciated.

stack@ubuntu-51-42:~$ cd cinder
stack@ubuntu-51-42:~/cinder$ **source .venv/bin/activate**
(.venv)stack@ubuntu-51-42:~/cinder$ **./tools/config/** 
Error importing module cinder.quota: **No module named oslo_db**

Can not generate /home/stack/cinder/etc/cinder/cinder.conf.sample

Did you pip install -r requirements.txt ?

That fixed. But i still could not run the from (.venu) environment. The same command runs fine outside virtual environment.

You need to run pip install -r while you're in the virtualenv. If you run it outside then the requirements are not in venv.
