i m following the openstack installation guide n during the intial conf of hosts file in /etc folder i have code

127.0.0.1   localhost deepak-VPCEH25EN
#127.0.1.1  deepak-VPCEH25EN

what OS are you running. Check the cable maybe a fault there. Can you ping 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.1.1

This might sound obvious but i've seen too many case where the basics weren't followed.

I think that the OS is Ubuntu watching the content of /etc/hosts. Have you configured the ip address 10.0.0.11 as ip address of one of your network interface? Have you tried to ping 10.0.0.11 ?
